Where to stay in Pattaya? I believe everyone has had this question. This is probably because there are so many hotels, big and small, all over the place, from North Pattaya, Central Pattaya, South Pattaya, Jomtien Beach, and more. But for this trip, we chose to stay at "Hotel Mera Mare Pattaya", located in Central Pattaya. It's just across the street from the beach and close to Central Festival, which is just a short walk away. The day we went was a Friday, so there weren't many people around. The atmosphere was relaxed. Even though it's the rainy season, the sky was clear today. Perfect for a trip to the beach! We arrived at the hotel and saw the clear sign, so we didn't have to worry about getting lost. It was very easy to find. Just turn in and park under the building.

After parking the car, the staff helped us carry our luggage to the Lobby for check-in. We found this hotel to be intriguing and mysterious, with its luxurious and unique decor. The mirrored walls created an interesting visual effect, and there were ample seating areas both inside and outside.

The Lobby lounge offers free internet access with MacBooks available for use.

A welcome drink with a refreshing cold towel, served with a touch of sweetness.

We arrived in the afternoon and haven't had lunch yet. Let's warp to lunch first. "October Sky" is an international restaurant that serves both breakfast and lunch to dinner. It's called All-day dining, so you can stop by whenever you're hungry. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a luxurious English style. Some corners are a bit retro, but they blend in perfectly.

The first dish we tried was the "Salmon con-fi with spicy salad," which was a real treat. As salmon lovers, we were thrilled with this dish. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, with a spicy kick that was truly Thai in its authenticity.

The next dish is "Udon carbonara", a carbonara with udon noodles, served with ham and garlic bread.

This dish is a delightful snack, a classic Thai dish called "Soft pork with spicy lemongrass" or "Moo Ma Nao". The flavors are vibrant and the pork is tender.

The final dish, "Hoy Tod New Zeland", features large New Zealand oysters coated in a thin, crispy batter. Each oyster is served as a single, generously sized piece, offering a delightful combination of crispy texture and fresh oyster flavor.

Feeling full and energized for a stroll! Next, let's explore the different types of rooms available. This resort offers 5 room categories: Deluxe Room, Deluxe Premier Room, Junior Suite, Family Suite, and Sensation Suite.

The space between each floor is beautifully decorated, luxurious and elegant in every corner.

The first room type is the "Deluxe Room," which we stayed in today. The room is a comfortable size of 35 square meters and features twin beds with comfortable mattresses. The room is well-equipped with amenities, including a dressing table, minibar, TV, refrigerator, and a balcony. The room is available with either a sea view or a garden view.

The bathroom features a transparent glass wall, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the space. However, fear not, as a curtain can be drawn for privacy.

The large bathtub allows for a relaxing soak with fluffy bubbles, perfect for escaping the heat. However, the lack of a bidet is a minor inconvenience.

The next room category we visited was the "Deluxe Premier Room", a 38sqm room with luxurious decor. I was secretly impressed by the room's design, it looked fabulous! Stepping inside felt like becoming a princess, hehe. The room is decorated in black and white tones, which I personally love. The bathroom has a bathtub for soaking, adding a touch of romance. If you come with your partner, you'll definitely enjoy it. There's also a rain shower for a refreshing shower after a long day.

The final room category we visited was the "Junior Suite", a single room measuring a spacious 78sqm. The decor is aesthetically pleasing with calming colors, and the space is clearly divided, even though there are no physical barriers between the areas. Upon entering, there is a dining table and a small kitchen counter.

The bedroom features a king-size bed with a vintage-style sofa and coffee table at the foot of the bed, creating a charming and inviting atmosphere. The spacious room offers ample space for relaxation, and the stunning views of Pattaya stretch as far as the eye can see.

The bathroom features a glass-walled Jacuzzi, perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage.

A view from the sofa. The view is so beautiful that I could sit here and watch it all day.

The spacious outdoor balcony features both a sofa bed and comfortable seating, offering panoramic views. As a corner room, it runs parallel to the coastline, providing a glimpse of Cape Bali Hai in the distance. At night, the twinkling lights of Pattaya City create a vibrant atmosphere.

The hotel also offers a swimming pool and fitness center on the second floor. The pool is small and not very large, but it is suitable for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

We have an appointment at "Pastry Addiction", the bakery located in front of the hotel, at 4 pm today.

Another adorable cafe! Highly recommend visiting if you're in Pattaya. The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing, and the dessert menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of drinks, ice cream, cakes, and more. You'll be spoilt for choice!

Upon arrival, we indulged in a delightful "Afternoon tea" experience, savoring fragrant tea and an assortment of delectable pastries presented in an enticing set.

The sun is setting and the wind has died down, so you can come and sit outside now. You can see the sea view, and the atmosphere is quite pleasant.

Our afternoon tea set looks delicious, doesn't it? Today's tea selection is green tea, with an enticing aroma. Paired with the accompanying pastries, it's the perfect combination.

The dinner tonight was incredibly abundant, offering a wide variety of dishes that could easily overwhelm even the most seasoned eater.

The first dish was a "Braised & Deep-fried Crispy Chicken" served with potatoes and spinach. This dish was delicious and well-balanced.

"Soft Shell Crab Burger" This is my first time trying a soft shell crab burger. Look at the crab legs sticking out! It's quite large. ^_^

"Focaccia with Parma ham and cream cheese" Crispy focaccia bread pizza

The final dish was "Nachos cheese," which resembled flatbread topped with cream cheese and contained beef. As a result, we did not try this dish, and my partner ate it alone.

The sky was overcast, so I moved inside. The large glass windows provided a clear view of the sea, just as if I were sitting outside.

Strolling in front of the hotel, the sea of Pattaya today, the waves are calm, the sun is setting, and the mood is different.

Returning in the evening, the daytime beauty is already breathtaking, but at night, the twilight adds another layer of romance.

Before heading back to my room to rest, I decided to indulge in a refreshing cocktail. The tangy flavor perfectly quenched my thirst.

It would be nice to go for a swim now. There's no one here, it's like I have the pool all to myself. It's not hot either, perfect!

Return to the room, lather up in warm water for another round, making it suitable for a relaxing break.

Waking up feeling refreshed on a rainy season day when it's not raining. I love it! Haha. We went down to have breakfast at the same place, "October sky." The breakfast buffet offers both Thai and Western dishes. There's also an egg station. As for tea and coffee, you can order them from the staff.

This table, please. The view is amazing! Sipping coffee, eating food, and looking at the sea, it's truly blissful.

It's time to check out. I took a few photos in the lobby before leaving. This angle is really beautiful. I was truly impressed with my stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the food is delicious, and the staff are all lovely. They are very helpful, polite, and I will definitely come back to stay again.

See you again with a cool latte. For those who are interested in coming to relax, want to eat delicious food, there are many bakeries to choose from. This is the place for you. Everything you need is here. You don't have to go anywhere. Sometimes there are promotions for accommodation + Afternoon tea set. It's very worthwhile.
