This review is not about the amusement park, but about the shopping experience. It's just that the location is in the same area and the sky was so beautiful that I used it as the cover photo. Before this, I tried to save as much money as possible for my next trip in April. But all my good intentions were destroyed today. This is Mitsui Outlet Park, and I have to say, it's really something special. Normally, I'm pretty good at controlling my spending, but when I got here, it all just disappeared.

Let's take a look at how to get there first. It's not too difficult. From Nagoya Station, you can take a JR train to Kuwana Station. The JR train fare is 350 JPY (according to Hyperdia.com/EN). However, I couldn't find the time I wanted to travel on that day. So, I took a Kintetsu train from Nagoya to Kintetsu Kuwana. The fare is a bit more expensive, at 440 JPY.

Upon exiting the train at JR Kuwana Station, you will find the bus ticket booth for Mitsui Outlet Park right next to the station. The outlet is commonly referred to as Nagashima Resort. If you arrive via Kintetsu Line, disembark at Kuwana Station and cross the bridge to the east (as I recall, but my memory is hazy). Once you cross the bridge, you will be greeted by the scene depicted in the image.

Purchase your ticket inside this room and inform the staff that you are heading to Nagashima Resort. The fare is 530 JPY. Please proceed to bus stop number 2 located at the front. We will be boarding bus route 53, which will take us directly to Mitsui Outlet Park, the final stop. The bus schedule is provided in the image below.

The bus number 53 will stop at the Mitsui Outlet Park, which is also the same location as the Nagashima Resort amusement park. I did not research the entrance fee for the amusement park, but it seems to be around 4000+ JPY per person. The rides are quite intense, so if you have a weak heart, it's best not to ride them or you might have a heart attack. Haha! I was brave enough to watch from outside, but I still felt a little scared.

Let's get to the heart of the matter. I must say that this is one of the best outlet experiences I've ever had. What's more, there weren't many Thai people there. Most of the brand-name stores offered discounts of 50-90%. Some stores advertised a 50% discount, but when you walked in, there was a voucher offering an additional 30% off, bringing the total discount to 80%. Psychologically, it doesn't matter what the original price was. In reality, the discount might not have been that significant. However, from a psychological standpoint, I believe it had a significant impact on buyers, including myself.

This outlet mall is brimming with both renowned and mid-range brands. While the selection may not be at the forefront of fashion, there are hidden gems to be found. I even spotted items not yet available in Thailand. Here's a glimpse of some of the stores, but don't forget the local brands offering incredible bargains.
