I have ever heard for long times that all islands in Thailand are very beautiful and unbeatable ones in this world

Hence, I would like to prove whether it is true as per previous quote or not.
I have decided to visit the islands in Trat province, the main destination is Koh Mak.

The reason that I have chosen Koh Mak

1. It is close to Bangkok, it does not take long time to get to

2. It is quite small island not so crowded with the tourists.

3. Reasonable price for travelling

Are you ready? Let's go...

There are 4 joiners for this trip which are my girlfriend, my friend and my niece and me. We start our trip at 04.30 hrs. heading to Krom Luang Choom - Phorn Pier, we reach the pier at 08.30 hrs. We actually come very early prior to the boat departure.

After paying respect to the statue of Choom -Phorn prince, we continue driving to Laem Ngob pier. We are not reluctant to find some place for having breakfast before getting on the speed boat. Later, we notice that Laem Ngob pier is not the place to get on the speed boat. Fortunately that we have enough time to go to the right place.

We drive back to Krom Luang Choom - Phorn pier. We have used motorcycle service to lead us to the parking area, the parking fee is THB 50 per night and the motorcycle service is THB 20.

The speed boat will depart from the pier at 10.30 hrs., it is the first schedule of the day. We have booked via IIovekohmak. The round trip ticket is THB 900 per person, it costs at THB 450 for children age not over 12 years old.
(You are able to book by yourself or via the hotel that you stay in Koh Mak)

It takes about 50 minutes by speedboat.
Please do not forget to put on life vest. The boat is terminated at Maka Thani Resort Pier.

It is such the paradise on the sea, we feel this since the first step on the bridge of this pier.

We are surrounded by the blue sky, blue sea and small islands.

The resort's driver has announced " Cococape Resort, this way please" and Yes, we have booked for Cococape Resort.
In my point of view, it is very nice resort to stay. We can only book via Agoda.

Finally, we have reached resort. We are served with welcome drink, it is made from Pandan leave. It really refreshes us. Most of the staffs are Cmbodian but they can speak Thai very well, they are very friendly.

After getting the room key and some information from the staffs, we are leaded to our rooms. We feel a bit tired because it takes sometimes to reach our room and there is no elevators available in the resort.

Our room is built as the house on the mountain and surrounded by the forest. There is the balcony where we can indulge with the nature.

This place is really suitable for nature lover.

We forget to tell you that there is attic at our house too, it can accommodate 3-4 people.

The surrounding atmosphere of the resort before we go to Koh Kham at 13.00 hrs.

The sky is so nice, we take a walk for while and refresh our body by ordering some iced coffee.

It costs THB 80 per glass.

For those who have ever come to Cococape Resort, we guess you might not miss to take some photos at the bridge. It is the signature of this resort.

We would like to also present another photo of panoramic view.

After exploring the accommodation and surrounding area, we have reserved the ticket to Koh Kham right away. If you do not got to Koh Kham, it means that you have not arrived Cococape Resort yet. The schedule to Koh Kham are 2 times per day which are 10.30 hrs. and 13.30 hrs., it costs THB 250 per person.

It takes about 5 minutes to reach to Koh Kham, this is one signature of Koh Mak.
It is very beautiful beach. The water is crystal clear, white sandy beach and black rock. We would like to spend our time here for 3 hours.

After spending happy moment at Koh Kham, we then come back to the resort. We would like to explain the atmosphere of the resort from the evening till the late night by the photos. Good night for the first night at Koh Mak.

On the second day, we wake up in the early morning, we have heard the thunder storm from very far end. Luckily, there is no rain in Koh Mak.

The breakfast is available at Cococape Resort is available from 07.30 hrs. to 10.30 hrs. If the guest number is not up to 30 people, the breakfast will be served as set menu.

After finished having breakfast, it is time to travel around the island. We rent a motorcycle at THB 300/ 24 hours. Our destination is Cinnamon wooden bridge, Koh Mak Temple, Koh Mak Museum and other beaches.

We wander around the beach of other resorts by starting from the beach in front of Maka Thani Resort till the beach in the opposite of Koh Rayang Nok. Here, we will see lots of coconut trees. It will be very nice to do sun bath while seeing the beautifully sandy beach.

Furthermore, we can also see the diversity of marine life along the beach.

We have searched for Koh Mak Temple and Cinnamon Resort for a while but we could unfortunately find them. According to hot weather, we have given up to search for them and go back to the resort. We then continue with the next activity in the afternoon which is to do snorkeling at the bridge of Cococape Resort . There is the snorkeling for renting at THB 100 per piece. The life vest is for free. Kayaking is also another nice activity

We do snorkeling for a while, we then swim back to the resort. It seems like we have our private swimming pool because there is no other guests. Actually, we tend to swim in the evening but the swimming pool is closed at 18.00 hrs.

It is the time for dinner, we would like to chill out at the Beach Café tonight of Ban Koh Mak Resort but Thai restaurant is closed. Only Italian restaurant is sill open.

So, we decide to have dinner here, the taste is not as good as at Cococape Resort but the price is pretty the same. The seafood is very fresh.

On the way back to the resort, we have seen fire flies, we are very excited to see many fire lies. Would you imagine how nice it is, there is no light along the way. Hence, we can obviously see fire flies. Unfortunately, I could not take the photos because I need to ride a motorbike. We have head to the bridge, the stars are very beautiful. We will be on the bridge till we feel asleep. Good night.

Finally, we need to say good bye to Koh Mak and go back to work. We wake up early due to thunder storm from far end.

But, it does not rain. The breakfast is the same as yesterday.

We are escorted to Maka Thani by hotel limousine at 11.00 hrs. We will take the boat at 11.30 hrs. Meanwhile, we are waiting for the boat, we still have some time to enjoy seeing marine creatures.

For those who are still reluctant to come to this island, I highly recommend that you should come.
